Straight Curve Teen Film School for kids age 11 to 17

Straight Curve offer a Teen film camp for young filmmakers who would like to learn how to make a short movie. It will give you an ideal opportunity to find out which role interests and excites you the most in filmmaking.

Straight Curve have been running film workshops in schools for the last 5 year very successfully and we have found it a great way to allow the students to be creative, work as a team and build confidence as well as having lots of fun!

The camps take place at the weekend and during the school holidays. We can also arrange evening camps too so the choice is yours.

Below is just a small taste of what you will learn on our film camp:

• Find out how to use our professional film making equipment including camera, tripod, lighting and sound
• Look at Camera angles, focus, white balance, crossing the line, shot sizes and more
• Learn how to write a short script, how to create a story board and organise a shooting script
• Find your props, look at your location, block your scene
• CAMERA, LIGHTS, ACTION! Shoot your short film
• Receive a DVD copy of your film and all of the exercises you have completed during your camp. This is perfect for showing people what you can do such as schools and colleges
